About Us

In June 1996, three people met for the first time at the home of Pastor Horace and Patricia Drumming which was the beginning of Rainbow Family Christian Center (RFCC). By September the number grew to more than thirty members and a larger meeting place was needed.

A meeting room was secured in one of the local hotels and it served as the meeting location for the RFCC church family until the church moved to 12146 Tech Road, Silver Spring, Maryland in May 1998. The Church continues to experience steady multicultural, multi-ethnic growth which is now resident at 2120-A Industrial Parkway, Silver Spring 20904. It is a rainbow of humanity, building a community bridge over the cultural divide with the love of God.

RFCC Church has always had a strong interest in missions, supporting efforts both overseas and in other parts of the United States. Local missions such as Inner City, Youth Encouragement Services, Self Help and Resource Exchange (SHARE), Disaster Relief Efforts and Evangelism Outreach are supported by RFCC Church.
